Add support for duplicate field names or fully qualified field names?

There's an issue merging data to forms which have duplicated field names. We have an IRS form which has some duplicated field names, however, their fully qualified field name is unique.
Is there a way to name the header name in the Data sheet file to make this work? I've tried putting in the fully-qualified field names: A[0].B[0].C and X[0].Y[0].C
but this doesn't work.
These are IRS forms, so we can't edit them.

Help? Thanks.

I encountered this same problem and the solutions I came up with was to implement DataReaderCSV.

I copied DataReaderExcel and implemented parseFile to parse the CSV File into a DataTable and updated the file filter and extensions.

With this addition you can then export the excel sheet as a csv and then import it bypassing the oledb layer that messes up these types of column names.

jgavin99, that's an excellent solution. I always intended to implement a CSV feature. Not super perfect, but it's a good workaround. You should submit your code.
